We believe that the Third Person of the Trinity, the Holy Spirit,
was sent by the Father to restrain evil in the world, to convict
men of sin, and to regenerate those who receive Christ as
Savior.  We believe that He baptizes believers into the church,
the body of Christ, sealing them until the day of redemption.
He indwells in believers permanently, and empowers them for
service through His special enablements as He wills.

While we do hold to the theological distinctive that the baptism
of the Holy Spirit takes place at conversion, we also recognize
the continuing, empowering work of the Holy Spirit in the life of
the believer.

We believe that no specific gift or gifts are fundamental, nor do
they confirm the presence of the Holy Spirit or show a sign of a
deeper spiritual experience. However, we do believe that all
gifts are continuing and will continue until Christ’s return.
